New investigation into deadly Ford Kuga fire

Dr David Klatzow, private forensic consultant said he was approached by the family of Reshall Jimmy to investigate the circumstances and cause of a Ford Kuga fire that killed Jimmy in December 2015.

The family believes the fire was caused by a mechanical or electrical fault with the Ford Kuga he was driving.

According to Klatzow this is the third investigation into the incident.

The information at hand currently shows that the fire started under the dash board in the front, slightly to the centre of the vehicle.

It is certainly not an engine compartment fire and it certainly did not start at the back as Ford originally alleged.
