Treasury procurement officer, Kenneth Brown, says financial institutions have confirmed that there were no suspicious transactions and cash deposits made into his account around the payment of two properties.
Yesterday National Treasury announced that Brown resigns end of December after 19 years serving at Treasury.
Hawks are currently investigating allegations regarding the payment of two properties. Special advisor to Minister of Communications Mzwanele Manyi had said he has a copy of a dossier that supports claims against Brown.

Brown says his resignation has nothing to do with allegations against him or challenges in his job.
He says the Office of the Chief Procurement Office was established to put in place preventative measures to ensure efficiency in the system and prevent corruption.
