Yahya Jammeh still refusing to leave office for new President-elect

Africa analyst, Kofi Kwakwa, says Gambian President Yahya Jammeh doesn't want to step down because he fears facing trial for crimes he has committed.

Jammeh was defeated by leader of opposition Adama Barrow at the 2016 elections after 22 years in power.

Kwakwa says the opposition might cut a deal in order for Jammeh to step down.
