Alleged SABC board minutes point to dodgy tender deal (and cover up) - analyst

Board minutes submitted by a whistle-blower are being verified to confirm allegations that SABC execs were party to tender fraud.

Paul Vecchiatto, parliamentary correspondent for Bloomberg, says the minutes are from two years ago and relate to the procurement of a multi-purpose studio worth around R42 million.

Vecchiatto says it appears SABC board members did more than ignore their procurement procedure - they falsified the outcome of the meeting.
