St Albans prison inmate opens up about mistreatment claims

An inmate at the troubled St Albans prison in Port Elizabeth says some of the injured prisoners who were injured during fatal clashes between prisoners and officials have not been taken to hospital.

Speaking to CapeTalk's Abongile Nzelenzele, he says they have now embarked on a hunger strike in an attempt to raise concerns with management.

Management and wardens saw this coming long time ago.
