Somerset West fires under control

Residents in the Somerset West are were evacuated on Tuesday night after the raging fires damaged several homes.

EWN reporter, Natalie Malgas says the families that were evacuated on Wednesday morning at about 5am were told to return to their homes.

She says officials have said that the fire is now under control but they will keep monitoring the situation.

Seven structures have been damaged to some extent including the main building of Bezweni Lodge...
