Worst fire in a decade, say Helderberg residents

EWN's Natalie Malgas reports that the fires in Somerset West are completely under control, but officials say they are monitoring the hot spots.

They are monitoring the hotspots including a stretch just above the Vergelegen Wine Estate where they have ground crews and at least three helicopters still working that area.

Lourensford and Morgenster Wine Estates say they have only experienced peripheral damage. Vergelen reports 40% of the farm was affected.
