Parents are preparing to send their children back to school next week and Dr Darren Green has some health and wellness advice.
He advises that crowded classrooms and sharing of toys and stationery can allow the spread of many germs.
However, Green explains that exposure to certain germs can be good and helps children develop immunity.
He warns against some infections such as gastroenteritis, measles and TB in young children.
