Court postpones Tshwane metro cop's bail hearing #HatfieldShooting

The Pretoria Magistrate's Court has postponed the case against Tshwane Metro police officer accused of murdering a man who allegedly failed to stop when ordered by police to do so.

EWN reporter, Barry Bateman, says surveillance footage in the possession of Independent Police Investigative Directorate (Ipid) shows that the shooting didn't happen at the road block as previously stated, but at a random stop and search.

The victim was shot and killed on the scene near the Gautrain station in Hatfield on Friday.

However, we have spoken to Peter Jay, who is the attorney for accused, and he is saying that it's not a case of unprovoked shooting.
