Teachers train in using technology to advance teaching methods

The programme is an extension of a pilot which began in 2016 in partnership between the government and the ETI lab.

The Educational Technology Inquiry lab at the University of Cape town is currently training 450 teachers in how to use technology to help find creative solutions to problems faced in the classroom.

Prof Dick Ng'ambi, Founder & Project Director of the ETI lab at UCT, speaks to CapeTalk's Kieno Kammies on how technology can be used by teachers to advance teaching.

There must be ways in which we should know how to use the technology to achieve whatever goals that we need to achieve
