Data, data everywhere! Meet Ornico Group’s Oresti Patricios…

The amount of data in our world has been exploding, and analysing large data sets — so-called big data — will become a key basis of competition, underpinning new waves of productivity growth, innovation, and consumer surplus.

McKinsey & Company

Oresti Patricios is the CEO of Ornico Group, a company that monitors and simplifies “big data” for companies wishing to grow and/or manage their reputations.

Patricios founded Ornico in 1984.

Ornico services 300 local advertisers, either directly or through their agencies.

The company opened Nigerian offices in 2010 as part of a major African expansion drive.

It currently operates in 14 countries on the continent.

The Money Show’s Bruce Whitfield interviewed Patricios for his weekly “ShapeShifter” feature.
