Hashim Amla becomes eighth cricketer to score a century in 100th Test

South Africans continue to congratulate Hashim Amla on his great achievement after scoring a century in his 100th Test during final Test against Sri Lanka at The Wanderers.

The South African batsman becomes the eighth cricketer to score a century during the 100th Test match.

He joins former Proteas captain Graeme Smith, Ricky Ponting, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Alec Stewart, Gordon Greenidge, Javed Miandad and Colin Cowdrey for that achievement.

South Africa is currently playing the third and final Test against Sri Lanka.

Proteas won the toss and chose to bat first.
