Hooters introduces 'angel shots' to rescue women from dangerous dates

Hooters South Africa has introduced the ‘Order an Angel Shot’ initiative to its female customers who are feeling unsafe during a date.

Hooters' restrooms now have signs that give customers instructions on how to discretely ask employees for help when they are in danger.

Marketing manager, Roger Mason, says the initiative is meant to be discrete.

The staff has been prepared to use their discretion to analyse the situation and what kind of action needs to be taken.
