D-Day for Vuwani demarcation submissions

Vuwani residents have until end of the day on Monday to make submissions to the Demarcation Board.

Violent protests that resulted in 24 schools being burned down errupted in the area last year after Vuwani was included in the Malamulele municipality.

EWN reporter, Philani Phakgadi, says the Demarcation Board together with the Limpopo government have allowed proposals to be submitted. This, after there the public outcry and strong dissatisfaction with the decision that Vuwani should remain under Malamulele authority.

The interministerial task team are tasked with sitting and jotting down the proposals on how the residents would like the demarcation to be.
