Motsoeneng won't be called to testify before SABC inquiry

Members of the Parliament ad hoc committee probing the SABC have opposed the request that Hlaudi Motsoeneng should testify before the SABC inquiry.

United Democratic Movement (UDM) had asked that Motsoeneng comes before the inquiry and be heard in the interests of fairness and justice.

EWN Parliament correspondent, Gaye Davis, says other MPs opposed the appeal on the basis that the SABC was given an opportunity to attend all hearings and cross-examine witnesses - but, chose not to use it.
