The SABC board's failures are being dissected in Parliament, following the conclusion of an inquiry by an ad hoc committee.
Members of Parliament (MPs) thrashing out what should be contained in its draft report, reports reports EWN's Gaye Davis.
The public have been able to watch the proceedings, as MPs scrutinise the findings and recommendations of the report.
Davis says the broadcasting of the proceedings gives the public insight into what happens behind the scenes in committee processes.
While there is no full consensus on the recommendations of the report, many agree that an interim board needs to be put in place urgently and that Communications Minister Faith Muthambi should also be be held accountable.
They are looking at the recommendations now. There is no consensus yet, there only will be on Tuesday when they hope to adopt this draft report.— Gaye Davis, Parliamentary correspondent for EWN
