Dr Martyn Davies, managing director, Emerging Markets & Africa, Deloitte-Frontier Advisory, says China’s internet population has increased to 731 million.

He says China's internet market expanded 6.2 per cent in 2016, gaining 43 million internet users, which is equivalent to the population of Ukraine or Argentina.

About 195 million people accessing the internet through smart phones.
