[Listen] Rondebosch Boys' High pupil apologises for his racist words

Last week a voice recording sent to a Grade 11 Rondebsoch Boys' High WhatsApp group was made public. In the recording a boy can be heard using the K-word in what sounds like a freestyle poem.

The principal of Rondebosch Boys' High School Shaun Simpson spoke to CapeTalk's John Maytham about the course of events. He made it clear that a disciplinary hearing was in process.

Two of the boys involved were removed from the school by their parents to avoid the hearing. But one set of parents decided their child should stay and face the consequences of his actions.

On Monday one of the boys sent an apology to The John Maytham Show. Listen to what he has to say:
