Democratic Alliance (DA) says it will submit more evidence on corruption allegations against Acting National Police Commissioner Khomotso Phahlane.
EWN reporter Barry Bateman says the allegations relate to unsuitable chemicals and equipment bought when Phahlane was still the head of forensic at the South Africa Police Service (Saps).
Yesterday EWN reported that the the Independent Police Investigative Directorate (Ipid) has extended its investigation against the acting national police commissioner.
Ipid is now investigating how Phahlane bought and financed at least six of his cars.
This adds to the pending investigation on how he bought his sound system worth R80 000 and luxury house in Pretoria.
Phahlane is also facing charges of deafening means of justice.
