Drive dirty and save water #WaterWatch

Geoff Higgo, owner of Around About Cars in the City Bowl is doing his bit to raise awareness about the water shortage, and save water at the same time.

He says clients are mainly inbound foreign tourists and is offering them an opportunity to hire one of their vehicles 'unwashed' at a discounted rate.

Though Around About Cars has an exception from the City to wash the fleet of cars, they would rather save water.

Customers are mainly foreign and Higgo says most do not even know there are water restrictions in Cape Town.

Higgo is offering a R30 discount on the daily hiring rate. Customers can either donate the money to an NGO in Masiphumelele or keep the money.

Kieno Kammies asks businesses to share how they are making a difference and what they are doing to save water.
