Rescue operations underway to extinguish fires near Du Toitskloof Pass

The Cape Winelands Fire and Rescue Department says there are 120 firefighters extinguishing a fire raging near the Du Toitskloof Pass in Cape Town that broke out again yesterday.

Some residents have been asked to evacuate their homes as a precautionary measure.

Nearly thousand hectares of land have been destroyed.
