Numsa rejects R20 p/h minimum wage

National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (Numsa) says the African National Congress (ANC) is not serious about radically transforming the economy and does not care about workers who continue to be marginalised.

Numsa general secretary, Irvin Jim, says they are rejecting Nedlac parties' agreement on an hourly minimum wage of R20 per hour to be implemented in 2018.
