Sports agents cover a range of relationships and agreements for sports stars and represent and promote an athlete to prospective employers and advertisers.

Retired Irish footballer Ryan Hartslief is now the managing director at Big Times Sports, an agency with an international footprint.

A sports person must hire someone who they trust to assist them to make wise decisions in relation to commercial agreements and earnings.
