SACP pickets corporate capture and corruption outside Parliament

South African Communist Party (SACP) in the Brian Bunting District (Cape Town Metro), staged a picketing outside Parliament as part of their campaign against corporate capture and the looting of our State Owned Enterprises (SOEs).

SACP second deputy general secretary, Solly Mapaila, says they want collective responsibility to be taken by those movements represented through African National Congress (ANC) in government.

While we take collective responsibility for decisions that are implemented through the ANC platform, we don't have a socialist and communist government.

Solly Mapaila, SACP second deputy general secretary

The Alliance needs to be reconfigured to meet the current needs of our oppression and revolution so that communists voices can be heard because it is the choice of the working class and majority.

Solly Mapaila, SACP second deputy general secretary
