Zuma came in as man of the people - analyst

President Zuma's speech is likely to once again be disrupted by the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) and National Assembly speaker, Baleka Mbete, will be unable to stop it, says political analyst Mcebisi Ndletyana.

Zuma came in as a man of the people, someone who would deliver to the poor. He hasn't lives up to that reputation.

Mcebisi Ndletyana, political analyst

The EFF is likely to do something... he [Zuma] violated his oath of office, he doesn't have gravitas.

Mcebisi Ndletyana, politcal analyst

Ndletyana said there's not much that Mbete can do to stop these disruptions and needs to "clean up her own reputation".

She wants to be President as well. She is seen as very protective of the President and been losing legitimacy as a result...
