Eskom denies hiding Dentons' findings, says there are two versions

The spokesperson for the Eskom board, Khulani Qoma, says there are two different versions of the law firm Dentons' findings into the reasons behind load shedding in the country and for the delayed infrastructure build.

There was a preliminary draft report, which was presented to the board. Thereafter there was a final version. So, the difference between these two versions is that one is unofficial, it's a draft.

And the one being published by us is a version that is authoritative legally.

Financial Mail deputy editor, Sikhosana Mantshantsha, says Eskom top bosses used their family members and friends to loot money from the power utility.

Mantshantsha says leaders implicated in the report are still working at Eskom.

The report that Sikhonathi is referring to is a draft.
