Globetrotter chef Wandile Mabaso is coming back to his home town of Johannesburg to bring locals a culinary experience like no other.
He obtained his culinary education in Mzansi and trained in classical French cuisine in New York.
Mabaso currently specialises in contemporary French haute cuisine at Alain Ducasse’s Two-Michelin-starred restaurant, Le Meurice, in Paris.
The Soweto-born chef is hosting a showcase dinner this weekend and says the menu is a compliment of all his experiences and what he has learnt from his mentors.
The culinary experience is possible with the help of Johannesburg Culinary and Pastry School, Mabaso explains.
He talks about French cuisine, shares details about the mouth-watering showcase menu and future plans to disrupt the Jozi culinary scene.
