South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) says it has received an increased number of complaints about racism playing out on social media.
The commission says it has not identified social media as a category in classifying human rights complaints.
EWN reporter, Masa Kekana, says the SAHRC has invited members of the public, F.W de Klerk Foundation, Ahmed Kathrada Foundation, Nelson Mandela Foundation, Facebook and Google to assist find ways of regulating racism on this online platform.
