Cops in the dark about motive behind 'mob-style' hit on former bouncer

EWN reporter Mandy Wiener says police are yet to establish the motive behind the killing of the former bouncer and debt collector, Raymond 'Razor' Barras.

Barras was shot in the head and chest while in his BMW parked in his driveway.

According to Wiener, it is believed Barras had some connections to criminal activities in Johannesburg but police are being very careful about how they talk about his killing.

He did move in questionable circles, he had links to illegal cigarettes trades, also to some drug dealing circles...

He used to be a car overhauler and a collector of American muscle cars... he was well known in Bedfordview.

Nothing was moved or taken from Barras's car says Weiner. It is suspected to be a hit but police are reluctant to confirm if this was a hit.
