The Democratic Alliance (DA) has criticised the appointment of African National Congress (ANC) spokesperson as Parliament's new spokesperson.

Moloto Mothapo says he applied for the job in order to serve South Africans in another capacity.

The position was advertised and as a South African I was entitled to apply.
