Hout Bay raising funds for first community skate park

Vicki Scheffel says Eyethu Hout Bay skate park is an exciting public/private project.

Scheffel is trying to raise awareness and funds to build a community skateboarding park in the area.

It’s a blueprint project for the City of Cape Town as this will be the first community project, so it’s special.

Scheffel adds that the municipality and residents would co-invest to contribute to the project that is beneficial for everybody.
