University of Cape Town (UCT) Vice Chancellor Dr Max Price says government should consider instituting a tax on graduates to help fund higher education.

Price says government could introduce additional tax linked to graduates' income for a number of years.

There are lots of ways of improving the funding for higher education. One is to increase the general tax rate. One is to reallocate funding from other public expenditure.
