In an active drive to tackle criminal activities in places identified as crime hot spots, President Jacob Zuma visited Soshanguve’s Block L this afternoon as part of his socio-economic transformation programme.
Zuma singled out Block L in his State of the Nation Address as requiring special attention.
He first spoke with a group of nyaope addicts who explained some of the difficulties they face.
He then talked to management at the Reitgat Police Station on the crime prevention mechanisms currently in place.
The President will be meeting with the justice and crime prevention cluster.
