Black parties in Parliament should unite over land issue - Zuma

President Jacob Zuma has called on the support from traditional leaders to resolve the issue of land redistribution in South Africa.

Zuma says it is now time for concrete action to be taken on radical economic transformation.

The President also urged black political parties in Parliament to unite on the land issue.

However, Zuma emphasised that government doesn't support illegal land grabs, and urged traditional leaders to ensure this doesn't happen in their communities.

Zuma was speaking in his annual address to the National House of Traditional Leaders on Friday.
