What is the more practical approach to the WC water crisis?

Motivational speaker, scenario planner and futurologist Clem Sunter’s shares his viewpoint on some of the issues of the day and combating these going forward.

Speaking on the current water crisis in the Western Cape, Sunter says a more logical consumption target must be set for each household.

Give simple advice on how to meet a target say of a 150 litres a day per household by forgetting about watering lawns and washing cars. What is the most sensible way to meet a target per household?

There has to be penalties in place too, but what we are lacking at the moment is what you normally have in a business which is a target that everybody understands.
