What you can expect at this year's Cape Town Cycle Tour (No water wasting)

The Cape Town Cycle Tour is less than five days away.

Director David Bellairs says its all systems go and while rainy weather is expected, things are looking up.

Given the Cape's drought conditions, the event wants to make sure that only the smallest amount of water is used.

Bellairs says they are working with the Peninsula Beverage Company and have decided to cancel the water mist tunnels this year.

Water won’t be allowed for anything other than consumption.
