Exhibition of Foreshore freeway precinct proposals opens to the public

Brett Herron, Transport and Urban Development Authority, says six proposals have been received by the City for the Foreshore freeway precinct.

The City made a proposal to the private sector to submit ideas on the development of the precinct.

This, on the condition that developers are able to resolve traffic flow, congestion and access as well as provide affordable housing.

An exhibition of the proposals has officially been opened to the public.

Take a look at this video of one of the proposals:

The display is located on the second floor in the podium block of the Civic Centre and was open for viewing from March 6 to 11 and from March 13 to 21.
