Former acting CEO of Prasa Collins Letsoalo has hit back at the parastatal’s board over claims he demanded a 350% raise.
EWN's Monique Mortlock reports that internal squabbles dominated the briefing which was supposed to see Prasa and the Transport Department give an update on the status of Metrorail services.
Letsoalo told the parliamentary portfolio committee on transport that Prasa's board has been lying about him.

A reportedly "feisty" Letsoalo read several e-mails between him and other board members and the parastatal’s board kept hitting back at his counter-claims.
Letsoalo was dismissed as the Prasa acting group CEO and says the salary hike allegations are part of a plot to discredit his reputation.
Prasa confirmed it appointed company secretary Lindikhaye Zide to replace Letsoalo, who insists that only minister of transport can terminate his contract.
Parliament's committee members have proposed an inquiry into the Prasa board and MPs plan to write a letter to Transport Minister Dipuo Peters to investigate.
