MEC of Finance in the Western Cape, Dr Ivan Meyer says growing the economy of the province and creating jobs is the key priority at the moment.
The Western Cape Government tabled its R59 billion budget for the 2017 financial year on Tuesday.

Meyer says over the next three years, R28 billion will go towards infrastructure development in specific spaces that will benefit small businesses and sub-contractors.
He says R30 million will also be set aside to assist reduce the bureaucracy which frustrates small businesses.
