Acting police commissioner, Kgomotso Phalane has condemned the waste of State resources deployed in the search for a one-month-old baby Siwaphiwe, reported missing by the mother in KwaZulu Natal on Friday.
Speaking to Xolani Gwala, Saps spokesperson Colonel Athlenda Mathe, said three people including the biological mother were arrested at a roadblock in the early hours of Sunday morning around the Mariannhill Toll Plaza.
The mother reported the baby missing on Friday, sparking wide spread concern among communities and organisations and the deployment of Saps members.
