The Anti-Racism Network of South Africa has encouraged citizens and organisations to use anti-racism week as a platform to speak out against and provide solutions to racism.

While a proposed bill to criminalise hate crimes and hate speech is still being considered, National Conveyer Sean Moodley says there is no single approach to fighting racism.

The campaign, which has been organised by over 80 groups under the Anti-Racism Network of South Africa, kicks off on Tuesday.

Public dialogue and multiple activities have been organized in parts of the country.
