Mark Rossouw, chairperson of Cape Flats Developments Association (CAFDA) says the institution which has been in existence since 1994 is not closing but down scaling due to financial difficulties.
Members of the community have been concerned that the organisation could be closing its doors after many years of impacting positively in their lives.
Rossouw says the current property takes up about 70% of their operating expenses and have been advised by Social Development to let it go.
The property in question has been on the market since October last year but it hasn't been sold yet. It is our intention to relocate.— Mark Rossouw, Chairperson of Cape Flats Developments Association
