Behavioural psychologist Dr Helgo Schomer says motivation is the driving force which pushes people towards their goals.

If we're not motivated, we're more likely to waste our time and neglect our personal and professional goals.

Dr Schomer explains that education and setting expectations is a key part of motivation.

If people feel they are lacking the skills and the knowledge to achieve the desired outcome, they are lacking motivation. They are not going to get going.
