‘Mars holds the secrets to our future’

Former NASA Deputy Chief Technologist James Adams has been involved in over 30 spaceflight missions to explore the Earth the Sun and most of our Solar System.

He has also been responsible for the Mars Science Laboratory.

Adams and Dr Adriana Marais who is the Head of Innovation at SAP Africa, will be part of a panel discussion in Johannesburg on Tuesday about the ultimate ambition of living on Mars.

Science Fiction and the Arts, they all play a role in defining what our vision of the future could be.

We are now at the point where we sort of have this critical mass of vision and technology and capability globally so we can actually accomplish it.
