Ghana's current education system questioned

The well respected Charismatic Bishop’s Conference of Ghana have issued a few pointers, giving advice to that country's leaders on what they should be thinking about to pull the country in the right direction.

Nana Boakye-Yiadom Broadcast journalist at CitiFM in Accra, Ghana, says the Bishops stated that the country should be thinking about changing the educational system from the junior high school system to the ordinary advanced level that the country had before.

They are blaming the current system for the troubles we are having and for not passing the exams.

According to Boakye-Yiadom, Ghana's two major teachers unions have reasoned against the Bishops proposal saying what the country needs is investment that will bring quality into the current system.
