Mogoeng Mogoeng lashes out at SASSA, calls matter a crisis

Reporting from the Constitutional Court, EWN's Gia Nicolaides says Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng has lashed out at Social Development Minister Bathabile Dlamini.

Opposition parties say the minister cannot take control of South Africa Social Security Agency (Sassa) and want the court to supervise any other contract that Sassa enters into.

CPS is quite willing to go ahead and stick to its constitutional obligation by paying the grants but it needs a contract in place.
