The Constantia Greenbelt is one of the few popular areas you may get to walk your dog in Cape Town, because of it’s spacious walking trail.
There have however been complaints of vicious attacks on passersby.
As a result, residents have been called to contribute to a proposal to ensure that dogs are on leashes at all times.
Councilor Liz Brunette says the article that has gone out for public participation will allow people to identify areas where dogs should be prohibited, and influence the kinds of controls that should be put in place.
