2017 Cape Town Carnival brings local and international flavour

The theme for the 2017 Cape Town Carnival is AMAZA – Ocean Odyssey.

The carnival will once again take over the streets of Cape Town on Saturday featuring international singer Oshri and the Rio de Janeiro Carnival performers.

With this year's theme, we need to be looking at what's going on with our oceans with regards to over fishing, plastics in the ocean and the water shortage.
