Montessori teaching method is a breath of fresh air

Enter your business in the Nedbank Business Accelerator Campaign with CapeTalk today.

Montessori Teacher Training Centre South Africa is the largest early childhood development teacher training centre specialising in the Montessori Method.

This teaching method was developed by Dr Maria Montessori as a child-centered educational approach based on scientific observations of children from birth to adulthood.

Founder Susanne van Niekerk believes that too many children today, through antiquated educational systems, modern technology, lack of savvy parenting and peer pressure - are being stifled in their natural development.

What makes Montessori different is that it is an educational philosophy that is based on scientific observation of human development and not for an industrial need of the time.

Susanne van Niekerk, Founder of Montessori Teacher Training Centre

Business growth specialist, Pavlo Phitidis, says our current education system is not giving us what we need as a country to get to the next level.

He commended investors and entrepreneurs like Van Niekerk who are creating an opportunity to talk about new forms of educational ideas and systems to improve our current state.
