Remembering Joe Mafela

South African's are mourning the loss of acting veteran, Joe Mafela. Mafela lost life in a car accident on Saturday evening.

Mafela is known for his role as 'Sdumo' on 'Sgudi's Snaysi' and more recently, he appeared on Generations: The Legacy as 'Malume Tebogo'.

Mafela will also be remembered for his music. He released his debut music album, titled Shebeleza in 1996. The title track, Shebeleza, was used as a theme song during the Africa Cup of Nations in 1996.

Thembi Mtshali-Jones, Actress who starred alongside Malefa on the sitcom 'Sgudi's Snaysi' says Mafela was a generous man and a big brother to those he worked with. She says that Mafela was a part of her family.

Joe really brought happiness to a lot people and hope.

Mtshali-Jones further thanked South African's for their support since the passing of Mafela.
